Working on a new collection for 2021+ and new art projects in my new attic studio in Fisterra, with the sound of the waves and the seagulls, it's just a bliss! So thankful for the universe to have made me come here, the peace, the beauty and especially all the wonderful souls living here are making me get up in the mornings and just love my life!!! This is how it looks like when you have to close two shops and find a new place for your brand and yourself in the world. It took me around 2 years and 13 moves to find a new home and a new system for BERENIK after the big disaster that happened in Ny and that took my whole system down, everything I built up in 10 years.
Everything just because of a building permit, that we didn't get in time....

After a long Odyssey I found a new home for me and BERENIK: Fisterra a small fishing village in Galicia Spain. We installed the new warehouse close to the amazing Langosteira Beach. From here we ship the orders now!
The office and studio is in my apartment in the village, with a view on the sea and a lot of peace I work and develop new collections that will be sewn in-house or in small factories in Portugal.

Sometimes our dreams become nightmares. Unfortunately it happened to our BERENIK Boutique & Talenthouse. We fell into a hole between the Department of Building of NYC and the Landlord of 419 broome. Not the biggest stubbornness and greatest vision could safe us - the hole was too deep...
We had to permanently close the boutique and abandon the project.
We are sad, but we will prevail!
And we will be back! Stay with us and order online!

BERENIK returned once again to New York Fashion Week this season to unveil their Spring/Summer 2018 collection with a Performance and Presentation on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017. The event took place at its recently opened U.S. flagship store in Soho. (419 Broome Street, NYC)

There are no words for the moment when you find out that your home is gone, your studio, all the clothes samples that I made with my own hands, the sketch books, art, all the little things you held dear, simply the fact to have a home where you feel safe.... I came back from a trip in Italy to find my studio/home loft like this, all I had left was a small hand luggage suitcase. I stayed in a hotel nearby, trying to save as much as I could, after a big fight I got a new loft in the same building, I didn't even have a bed of course, I went to buy a mattress in the neighborhood and started to order the essentials on amazon. I went to the burnt down apartment making little piles of things I could eventually save, you can't imagine how disgusting everything is, everything either burnt, full of smut or mold...
